While people in the North are done celebrating the “Boating Solstice” folks in South Carolina are enjoying the Atlantic coast and all it has to offer. Winter in the Midwest is cold and miserable, but here in Carolina, we get to enjoy being outside in the nice weather for spring break.
Hello, Tampa Bay! We know that you get to enjoy the sea a lot more than most. Also, we want you to know we are all jealous. Warm weather all year, great views, and some of the best fishing to boot. With all these awesome things, why would you ever leave Florida?
Owning a boat through the spring and summer months in the Northeast can be great fun. But once late fall and winter hit, it is almost impossible to enjoy your boat. Big winter storms can really hit the Northeast with very little warning. In addition, high winds and frozen water does not make an ideal boating time. Many of us in the North have to pay high storage fees for our boats all winter long.
